I’m a passionate leadership and best business practices expert who relishes helping entrepreneurs, CEOs, executive teams, business owners, and aspiring leaders achieve remarkable, long-lasting results.
I served twenty-six years in the U.S. Army and spent an additional 14 years as a CEO and Business Unit President in a billion-dollar corporation. I led teams of up to 3,000 all-stars to tremendous organizational growth and success.
Today, I share my leadership and business expertise by developing and mentoring CEOs, business owners, and their executive teams on leadership, management, and team-building principles to achieve and sustain their business growth and profitability goals.

We need leaders! We need leaders in our government. We need leaders in our businesses. We need leaders in our educational institutions. We’re in a crisis of pandemic proportion, and it has to do with leaders lacking character, purpose, vision, inspiration, and virtuous actions.
Leading people can indeed be intoxicating. Finding ways to ground yourself against the adoration of followers is critical. Your insulation to temptation is in the form of a coach, advisory board, and leadership routines. The coach offers perspective and accountability while demanding peak performance. The advisory board provides experience and thought diversity while helping the organization thrive. Leadership routines connect you emotionally to followers while grounding you as a servant leader.
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime! Lead a team through a challenge, and you achieve some level of success. Teach your team how to think, provide clear direction, ask more than tell, understand, and positively reinforce the efforts of their teammates, and you groom your replacement. This mindset will grow a generation of servant leaders who succeed you, envision an abundant future, and serve your organization’s constituencies.
The best leaders understand that with purpose, vision, direction, and clarity, determination is what gets you across the finish line and in the winner’s circle. Always. However, without purpose, determination is nonexistent. Without vision, determination descends. Without direction, determination stumbles. Without clarity, determination succumbs. Without determination, equivocation, uncertainty, and chaos ensue, and failure is around the corner.
